SHIPPING POLICY

At Spectra Supply, we aim to process and deliver orders as efficiently and transparently as possible. Please read this Shipping Policy carefully before placing your order.
1. SHIPPING AREA
We currently ship within South Africa only.
We do not ship internationally at this time. Orders placed from outside South Africa may be cancelled and refunded.
2. ORDER PROCESSING TIME
In-stock items are processed within 3–5 business days after payment confirmation.
Orders are not processed on weekends or South African public holidays.
Processing time refers to the time required to prepare your order before dispatch. Delivery time starts once the order has been dispatched and handed over to the courier.
3. PRE-SALE, MADE-TO-ORDER, BACKORDER AND IMPORTED ITEMS
Certain Spectra Supply items may be sold on a pre-sale, made-to-order, backorder, imported, or limited-batch basis.
These items are not held as immediate local stock at the time of purchase.
Pre-sale, made-to-order, backorder, or imported batch items are processed according to the timeline stated on the product page, campaign material, or order communication.
Unless otherwise stated on the product page, estimated delivery for these items is approximately 4–6 weeks after the batch closing date, supplier confirmation date, or production start date.
Estimated timelines may vary due to supplier production schedules, international freight, customs clearance, courier delays, public holidays, incorrect customer information, or circumstances outside Spectra Supply’s reasonable control.
If a material delay occurs, Spectra Supply will notify affected customers and provide an updated estimated delivery window where possible.
4. OUT OF STOCK ITEMS
If an item becomes unavailable after your order has been placed, we will notify you via email as soon as reasonably possible.
You may be offered one of the following options:
- Wait for the item to become available
- Exchange for an alternative product
- Receive store credit
- Receive a refund
If Spectra Supply is unable to supply the ordered item, the customer will be offered an alternative item, store credit, or refund.
5. DOMESTIC SHIPPING
We currently offer delivery within South Africa only.
Standard delivery usually takes 3–7 business days after dispatch, depending on your location and courier service availability.
Delivery to outlying areas may take longer.
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your location, order size, order weight, and available courier options.
6. FREE SHIPPING
Where free shipping is offered, it will apply only to qualifying orders that meet the stated minimum order value or promotional conditions.
Free shipping promotions may be changed, withdrawn, or limited at Spectra Supply’s discretion.
7. TRACKING
Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a tracking number via email where tracking is available.
Please allow 24–48 hours for tracking information to update after dispatch.
8. DELIVERY DELAYS
Estimated delivery timelines are provided in good faith and are not guaranteed unless expressly confirmed in writing.
Spectra Supply is not responsible for delays caused by courier services, supplier delays, international freight, customs inspections, public holidays, incorrect customer information, weather events, strikes, power outages, force majeure events, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Where a delay materially affects your order, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you and provide updated information.
9. CUSTOMER DELIVERY DETAILS
Customers are responsible for providing accurate and complete delivery information at checkout.
Spectra Supply is not responsible for delays, failed deliveries, additional courier fees, or lost parcels caused by incorrect or incomplete delivery details supplied by the customer.
If you notice an error in your delivery information, please contact us immediately at bianca@spectrasupply.co.za.
10. FAILED DELIVERY ATTEMPTS
If the courier is unable to deliver due to incorrect information, nobody being available to receive the parcel, refusal of delivery, or failure to respond to courier communication, the parcel may be returned to Spectra Supply or held by the courier.
Additional delivery fees may apply for re-delivery.
11. LOST OR STOLEN PACKAGES
If your package is marked as delivered but you have not received it, please contact us as soon as possible, preferably within 48 hours, at bianca@spectrasupply.co.za.
We will assist by opening an investigation with the courier.
Spectra Supply is not responsible for parcels that are lost, stolen, or misplaced after confirmed delivery to the address provided by the customer, unless the loss was caused by an error by Spectra Supply or the courier before delivery.
12. DAMAGED PARCELS
If your parcel arrives visibly damaged, please take photos of the packaging and the item and contact us as soon as possible, preferably within 48 hours of delivery.
Damaged, defective, or incorrectly supplied items will be handled according to our Return & Exchange Policy and applicable South African consumer protection laws.
13. IMPORT DUTIES, TAXES AND LANDED COSTS
Unless otherwise stated, prices displayed on the Spectra Supply website include the selling price payable by South African customers for orders placed through our South African store.
Spectra Supply is responsible for supplier procurement, import processing, customs clearance, and local fulfilment for confirmed South African customer orders, unless otherwise clearly stated before purchase.
Customers will not be asked to separately pay import duties or import VAT on orders fulfilled by Spectra Supply unless this is clearly disclosed before purchase.
